Prices for wallpapering, plastering and painting

What do wallpapering, plastering and painting cost per m²?

These are the most frequently requested prices from our 2026/2027 price list. The full price brackets and surcharges are given per trade further down this page.

Prices exclude VAT. For the renovation of a home over 10 years old, VAT is usually 6%; otherwise it is 21%. Prices from our 2026/2027 price list, valid from 1 September 2026.

What do you pay, and when?

The quote is free and reaches you within 24 hours, based on a price estimate. If you agree to it, we schedule the site survey. The price list also contains a few fixed items; below you can see when they apply.

You pay for the work itself in two parts: 50% on the first working day, once all materials are on site and we have started, and 50% on completion.

Worked example: a complete home with renovation fleece

A home with 220 m² of wall ready for wallpaper falls in the bracket over 150 m²: 220 × €14.99 = €3,297.80 for sanding, hanging, filling and 1 coat of paint in RAL 9010 or 9016. Add the one-off call-out fee of €99.99 and you arrive at €3,397.79.

What does wallpapering cost per m²?

For renovation fleece, non-woven wallpaper, glass fleece, woven glass fabric and fibreglass wallpaper we charge a package price per m². The complete package includes sanding, hanging, filling and 1 coat of paint in RAL 9010 or 9016. The larger the job, the lower the price per m². Non-woven wallpaper costs the same as renovation fleece, and fibreglass wallpaper the same as glass fleece and woven glass fabric.

What does wallpaper removal cost?

We charge for wallpaper removal per m², depending on the type and the number of layers. Our tradespeople remove an average of 100 m² of wallpaper per day.

What does plastering cost per m²?

Our m² prices for plastering always include materials. A plasterer plasters an average of 100 m² per day. Thin plaster has a price bracket based on the total area, and exterior plastering is always priced on request.

What do painting and wall painting cost?

We charge for painting and spraying work per m², and for painting staircases, doors and windows per item or per metre. For wall painting, 1 coat in RAL 9010 or 9016 is the starting point. A 2nd coat or a different colour is a surcharge.

Besides the m² prices, these fixed rates apply. They appear in the quote if they apply to your job.

After the site survey and wall inspection you know exactly where you stand. We visit you anywhere in Belgium for this.

If you have your finishing done together with your neighbours, you get a neighbour discount per m². The discount depends on the number of homes taking part:

What is included in the m² price, and what is not?

With a price per m², the question is always what gets added on top. That is why we set out here what is and is not included. The wallpaper package includes sanding the substrate, hanging, filling, the materials and 1 coat of paint in RAL 9010 or 9016. For plastering, the materials are always included in the m² price.

Not included are a 2nd coat of paint, a colour of your choice, extra preparation such as removing old wallpaper, floor protection and scaffolding. These items appear separately in the quote, so you know in advance what you will pay. For a first estimate of your area you can calculate your m² online.

The work is done by our 97 own tradespeople: 40 wallpaper hangers, 32 plasterers and 25 painters. The prices come from our 2026/2027 price list. The prices on this page are the ones that apply.
