Having glass fleece, glass fabric or fibreglass wallpaper installed costs €16.99 to €20.99 per m² with us, depending on the total area. That includes sanding, hanging, filling, the wallpaper and one coat of paint in RAL 9010 or 9016.
Prices are exclusive of VAT; for homes over 10 years old this is usually 6% VAT. All three types cost the same; the texture makes no difference to the price.

What does fibreglass wallpaper cost per m² with us?
The price depends on two things: how many m² the job comes to in total, and whether you choose the complete package or arrange part of it yourself. The bigger the job, the lower the price per m².
Prices are exclusive of VAT.
In our price list, glass fleece and glass fabric share a single line. Fibreglass wallpaper is the umbrella term for those two and falls under the same prices. So whether you choose a smooth fleece or a fabric with a herringbone or diamond weave, the m² price is the same. For the price, the difference between glass fleece, glass fabric and fibreglass therefore makes no difference, but for the look it does.
Without painting means that we hang and fill, and someone else does the painting. With your own materials, you supply the wallpaper and paint yourself, and pay only for the labour.
What is included in the m² price, and what is extra?
The complete package contains everything needed for a finished wall. Sanding is not listed separately on that line, but is always included.
- The wallpaper. We work with glass fleece and glass fabric from Intervos. According to Intervos’s price list, the glass fabric from the Quality Glass collection weighs 115 to 200 grams per m², on rolls of 50 by 1 metre.
- The adhesive. An adhesive that suits the fabric and the substrate.
- Sanding, hanging and filling. Sanding the wall, hanging the strips neatly and sealing the joints at window frames and skirting boards.
- One coat of paint. In RAL 9010 or 9016, with Sigma wall paint.

We advise against leaving old wallpaper in place and papering over it, because the old layer can come loose from the moisture in the adhesive. If there is already fibreglass on the wall, you can have the old fibreglass wallpaper removed in the same job. For everything not listed here, the rates in our price list apply.
What does a hallway, a floor or a whole home cost?
Three examples with the price of the complete package. It is about m² of wall, not m² of floor. You can work out your wall area with the m² calculator.

The sliding scale is based on the area of the job. Below 30 m², the price list has no m² price. For a small job without materials, the list gives a day rate of €449.99 for a wallpaper hanger.

That is a fair question, and the answer depends on the fabric. The package includes one coat of paint. In the data sheet for Sigmatex Superlatex Matt, Sigma states that unpigmented glass fabric needs two coats. According to the same sheet, pigmented glass fabric and glass fleece can manage with one coat, although a second coat may be needed for coverage.
A second coat is a surcharge with us. Those costs should therefore be in the quote up front, not on the invoice afterwards. During the site survey we discuss which fabric you choose and whether a second coat is needed. That is how the painting goes on every job where we hang fibreglass wallpaper.
If you are comparing with renovation fleece, look at that coat too. Renovation fleece costs from €14.99 per m² with us, glass fleece and glass fabric from €16.99. But price is only one side of the choice between renovation fleece and glass fleece; your wall counts as well.
How do we arrive at a fixed price for your walls?
The work is done by one of our 40 in-house wallpaper hangers, not a subcontractor. They are part of a team of 97 tradespeople, so we also schedule a plasterer for a skim coat ourselves in advance.
When you apply, tell us which rooms they are, roughly how many m² and whether you want smooth glass fleece or a fabric with texture. The free quote you receive within 24 hours will then already use the right scale, and you will see straight away whether a second coat of paint is part of it.
During the site survey we measure up and check whether the walls are ready for wallpapering, so that the final price matches what actually needs doing.
The final quote shows the m² price from the sliding scale, plus the extras your wall needs.
