Rubble removal costs from €40 per hour for the work with us, plus disposal from €165, depending on the quantity. We clear the rubble and construction waste, carry it out and dispose of it, so you can get on with your home.
If we carry out the renovation ourselves, removing the rubble is simply part of our quote. Prices exclude VAT; for homes over 10 years old, 6% VAT usually applies.

The price depends on how much rubble there is, how heavy it is and how far it has to be carried out. Bricks and tiles are heavier than plasterboard and wood, and a job on an upper floor means more carrying than on the ground floor.

Demolition work may require a permit or notification, depending on the scale of the work and on your city or municipality. Check with the town planning department before the work starts.
If the home was built before 2001, it may contain asbestos, for example in old floor tiles, ceiling panels or around the heating boiler. Asbestos has been banned in Belgium since 2001 and may only be removed by an accredited asbestos removal firm. We do not do that; if we see something that looks like asbestos, we leave it in place and let you know.
How does rubble removal work?
Request a quote. Tell us what there is: bricks, tiles, plasterboard, wood or a mix. Feel free to send photos.
Agree on the removal. We agree in advance how the rubble will be taken away, so it is included in the quote.
Clearing and removal. On the agreed day we clear the rubble, carry it out and dispose of it.
Broom-clean. We leave the space swept, ready for the next step.
Isn’t a skip cheaper?
Hiring a skip is cheaper if you do the carrying yourself and everything fits in one go. But you have to fill it, not everything is allowed in, and if it stands on the public road you sometimes need permission from the city or municipality. We take care of carrying, sorting and removal in one go.
After the rubble: the finishing
Once the rubble is gone, you can really see the state of the walls and floors. Our plasterers smooth the walls, our painters paint them, and one of our contractor teams lays the new floor. If a lot more has to go, you can have the house stripped out before the renovation begins. You can also come to us for any other house clearance.

That depends on the scale of the work and on your city or municipality. Check with the town planning department before the work starts.
